Our conversations these days consist of clicking and waving arms. We get pretty far with just that.

Many of you are asking if she can crawl yet. She's getting there. For now she prefers smooth surface for sliding her way across. We also need to keep her nails trimmed. Remember the days when we used blackboards? shiver...

These are difficult times and Yuki is thinking about her future. Her parents are academics with their heads in the clouds and are no help. She's thinking something in Germany might be a good idea.

Look what we got in the mail today!

It seems we have disturbed our artist in residence. Ssshhhh!

Tonight there is a total lunar eclipse. Yuki will be three years old when this happens next time.

I realize we named our daughter after it, but we are getting a little tired of the snow. We have record snowfall this year, and I mean all-time snow accumulation, passing the 1978-79 record of 76.1 inches. On the upshot, both K and I are getting a great workout shoveling, and our arms have never looked so good.
